Internet addiction is seen in children with ADHD, other disorders Researchers at a hospital in Taiwan found that children who suffer from attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and hostility are more likely to develop an addiction to the Internet. The researchers studied nearly 2,300 seventh-graders for two years and also found that girls with social phobias or depression were also more likely to develop unhealthy levels of Internet usage.
